Many colostrums today have been tested to be “transitional milk”, which has next to none of the magic colostrum has. Others have been heavily processed, reducing their nutritional value drastically, impeding absorption and compromising its bioactivity greatly. Also, many colostrums are harvested from CAFO (Concentrated Animal Feed Operations) cows, where they are tormented in overcrowded, unhygienic, indoor environments. They get injected with artificial growth hormones, antibiotics, and are fed genetically-modified grains they were never designed to consume. The resulting colostrum from these sources is nothing but potential trouble to us.
